Security and Anti-Terrorism for the Individual/Employee
This is an introductory course
designed to teach individuals, employees and organizations how to minimize their
vulnerability to Crime, Corporate Espionage, Foreign Intelligence Services
(FIS), and Terrorist Activities. You will learn to identify and recognize
developing situations. Once a threat is identified you will learn what you
should do to protect yourself and /or your family and organization. This course
provides a solid platform as the first in a series of courses designed to
enhance the full spectrum of sound responses for individuals and organizations
to “harden” their personal, intellectual and physical security. This instruction
provides an exceptional foundation to organizations Security Programs. One of
the main focuses of the program is to enhance awareness of Continental United
States (CONUS) based threats and the impact those threats have on CONUS based
operations. This course is a combination of instructor briefings, video
presentations, group discussions, and practical exercises.
The Student Will Learn:
- The meanings of subversion, espionage, anti-terrorism, counter-terrorism, intelligence and counter-intelligence.
- The full spectrum of threats they need to be aware of (International, Domestic, and Narco terrorist/groups and Criminal Activity).
- Current Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP*s) of
the broad spectrum of Threats, Foreign Intelligence Services
(FIS), and Corporate Intelligence Services.
- How to identify individual and organizational vulnerabilities.
- Develop an awareness and decision methodology to mitigate
vulnerabilities.
- How to minimize the Domestic and Foreign travel threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop protective measures for individuals and their families.
- Learn who to notify if approached or witness to an
incident or threat activity.
